Metro Station: L3 and L5 (“Sants Estació” stop), 50 metres from the hotel.

Bus Station: 50 metres from the hotel you will find bus routes L-30 (Sarriá), L-32 (Roquetes), L-44 (Badalona), L-43 (Sant Adriá), amongst others.

Train Station: 50 metres from the hotel is the main train station (Sants Station).

There is a train service between Barcelona Airport and Sants Station. And from here you can/must walk to the hotel, as it is just a few yards away from Sants Station.

The total time for the journey from Barcelona Airport to Hotel Torre Catalunya is about 20-25 minutes. We shall now give you detailed directions for the whole journey:

Route A) Train

1) Train: Barcelona Airport - Sants Station: (20').- There is a train service (Line C2) running from Barcelona Airport to the city centre. You can't miss it.

There are trains to and from the airport every 30 minutes. On your way back to the airport, you can catch the train at Clot, Passeig de Gràcia or Barcelona Sants (Sants Station). Although the nearest and the most convenient one for going to the airport from the hotel is Sants Station.

Route B) Aerobús and Metro/On foot

1) Aerobús: Barcelona Airport - Plaça Espanya. (25-30').- As well as the train and taxis, there is also a bus service (Aerobús) between Barcelona Airport and various points in the city. The stop nearest Hotel Torre Catalunya is Plaça Espanya, which is where you should get off.

The Aerobús runs every 10 to 15 minutes and you can catch it outside any of the airport's three terminals.

2) Metro: Plaça Espanya - Hotel Torre Catalunya (<5').- If you are not too tired from your journey, we recommend you go the rest of the way on foot, as it is about a five-minute walk along Avinguda Tarragona. Although you can also take the Metro from Plaça Espanya to the hotel: Take Line 3 (green) at Plaça Espanya in the direction of "Zona Universitària". It is just two stops to Sants Estació, where you get off, and the hotel is just a few yards from the station. You can't miss it.

€4.25 single and €7.30 return. You can only buy tickets on the bus.
T-10 travel cards are not valid on these buses.

The first bus leaves the airport: Daily: at 6:00 am.
The last bus leaves the airport: Daily: at 1:00 am.

Transport tickets:

You need to buy a ticket to get about Barcelona on public transport:

- Single ticket: This ticket is valid for a single journey and costs €1.35.
- T-10*: This travel card is valid for 10 journeys anywhere on Barcelona's public transport network (train, bus and Metro) and costs €7.70.

* A T-10 travel card is the recommended option, as you can take advantage of it during your stay in Barcelona to get about easily on public transport. You can buy a T-10 card at any Metro station or at the entrance to the RENFE railway platform at Barcelona Airport.
