The main religious and cultural events during Easter week:

Maundy Thursday: Traditional pilgrimage to visit seven churches.

Good Friday: There are two processions: The procession of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, leaves from "Sant Jaume" church at about 6.30 pm., then passes through various points in the Gothic District and then returns to this temple the church at about 11 pm. The procession of Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder and María Santísima de la Esperanza Macarena (It begins at the Sant Agustí Church in the Raval district and passes through various points in this district and the Gothic district).
